CREATE-IoT: a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) on Large-Scale Pilots
CREATE-IoT (CRoss fErtilisation through AlignmenT, synchronisation and Exchanges for IoT) brings together 18 partners from 10 European countries. The objectives are to stimulate collaboration between IoT initiatives, foster the take up of IoT in Europe and support the development and growth of IoT ecosystems based on open technologies and platforms. This requires synchronisation and alignment on strategic and operational terms through frequent, multi-directional exchanges between the various activities under the IoT Focus Areas (FAs). It addresses cross fertilisation of the various IoT Large Scale Pilots (LSPs) for technological and validation issues of common interest across the various application domains and use cases.
ETSI (and CommLedge) in CREATE-IoT: coordinating the standardisation work
ETSI participates to CREATE-IoT with the support of CommLedge (Emmanuel Darmois) as Expert. ETSI is in charge of Work Package 6 on "IoT Interoperability and Standardisation".
The main topics addressed:
The main topics addressed:
- Coordination of European IoT Large Scale Deployments
- Common definition of the Interoperability Framework
- Reference Architecture; Interoperability Points; Platforms
- Standards in supports: existing and coming ones
CREATE-IoT Work Package 6: main results
