ETSI launches the STF 652 on Harmonised User-centric Terminology for ICT Devices and Services

This Specialist Task Force (STF) is an ETSI funded project that spans over a period ranging from November 2022 to May 2024. Its main aim is to develop a set of user-centred, accessible and harmonized terminology recommendations intended to improve the overall user experience and accessibility.

ETSI publishes EG 203 499 v2.1.2 on Harmonised ICT Terminology

The newly published ETSI ETSI Guide EG 203 499 (here in PDF), titled “User-centred terminology for existing and upcoming ICT devices, services and applications”, now provides reference terminology for ICT users in 19 major official languages of the EU/EFTA, each  of these being spoken by at least 5 million native speakers in Europe: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish, and Swedish.
